More than 175 Ilford students celebrate their graduation

An Ilford college has celebrated the accomplishments of more than 175 students.

The ceremony took place in the heart of London at Southbank Centre and awarded the students from Mont Rose College, in Cranbrook Road, that had completed level five courses in subjects including business marketing and hospitality management.

The ceremony began with a speech by Sir Kenneth Olisa, the Lieutenant Lord of Greater London, before the first sets of awards were given to the graduates.

Krystyna Pytlarz, a business marketing student, said: “My experience while studying with Mont Rose College was extremely rewarding. The lecturers were all so personally concerned with our success, everyday we learnt something new and achieved something different.”

Other notable guests were Thomas Chan, the deputy lieutenant of greater London, and Sean Mackney, the pro vice chancellor of Buckinghamshire New University.

Mr Mackney applauded the students before awarding the remaining graduates.
