An Ilford primary school has closed today after it was burgled.

Police are appealing for information after Cranbrook Primary School, The Drive, was broken into on Saturday, July 7 at 12.15pm.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Several cameras were reported stolen.

“Officers from the East Area Command Unit are investigating.”

Pupil’s parents were notified by the school about the incident and were asked not to drop their children off on Monday (July 9).
