Cakes and newly-repaired bikes were among the items available to purchase at a charity sale on Saturday.
The Ilford Salvation Army, in Clements Road, held the fundraising event to raise money for the national organisation’s hostels and rehab centres.
The cycles on offer were from the branch’s Recycle project, which provides homeless people with the opportunity to repair old bikes and learn new skills which may get them into employment.
