A 51-year-old man pleaded guilty yesterday to attempted murder after he stabbed a woman.
Manjit Singh Mirgind, of Mayfair Avenue, Ilford, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court where he admitted to attacking the female on December 18 last year.
He was remanded in custody and is due back in the court for sentencing on June 6.
