A pizza shop in Ilford was evacuated last night after a fire broke out in its kitchen.
Two fire engines were sent to Espressa Pizza in Green Lane at 12.55am this morning.
Firefighters managed to put out the small blaze in 30 minutes, and damage was only caused to around 20 per cent of the building.
Six people living in flats above had to be evacuated.
The cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
