Ilford man seventh to be charged over teen’s death in Hoxton

An Ilford man has become the seventh person charged with murder following the death of a teenager earlier this month.

Marcel Addai, 17, was found stabbed on the St John’s Estate in Pitfield Street, Hoxton, on Friday, September 4.

David Oladimeji, 21, of Axon Place, Ilford, is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court today.

Rickell Rogers, 21, and Sheku Jallow, 22, both of no fixed address, appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 17 and were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey today.

Also charged is Momar Faye, 18, of no fixed address, Sodiq Adebayo, 22, of West Sussex, Akeem Gbadamosi, 21, and Eugene Ocran, 19. They have been remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on dates to be confirmed.
