Ilford churches joined hundreds of people across the country taking part in the Good Friday walk of witness.
Around 100 people from the town centre churches attended the procession through Ilford town centre on April 18.
The procession called at the Exchange shopping centre, Redbridge’s town hall, Linton House and the police station.
Those who took part sang Easter songs and said prayers as they made their way through the town.
They also carried a large cross and a banner.
