There were proud smiles and celebrating families galore as a business college marked its third annual graduation ceremony.

Mont Rose College, in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, celebrated its graduation on Monday at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II centre in Westminster.

Guests included Ilford South MP Mike Gapes, Redbridge deputy mayor Councillor Ashley Kissin and Thomas Chan, representative deputy lieutenant for Redbridge.

Sean Mackney, pro vice chancellor of Buckinghamshire New University, presiding over the ceremony, said: “This is a wonderful day for Mont Rose College, marking the culmination of months of hard work for their students.

“There has been an incredible buzz today, as graduates and staff members share in the celebration and reflect on what has been achieved over the last year.”

Mont Rose graduate Gloria Taiwo added: “I wanted to go somewhere with an excellent reputation and a focus on employability. An institution that is supportive – Mont Rose College ticked all the boxes and more.”
