Redbridge residents have a life expectancy slightly above the national average, according to new figures.
Office for National Statistics figures show male residents in the borough are expected to live until 79.9 and women until 83.8, above the national number of 78.9 and 82.9 respectively.
It relates to statistics collated between 2009 and 2011 in local authorities nationwide.
