House-hunting in Ilford and Chadwell Heath is on the rise as prices in central London continue to soar, an estate agent says.

The number of people searching for properties increases as you move east along the Liverpool Street to Shenfield Greater Anglia line, according to Haart.

Prospective buyers have risen by six per cent in Ilford and 8.7 pc in Chadwell Heath, where the number of properties on the market with Haart has grown 58.3 per cent.

But the figures pale compared with Havering, with a 66.1 per cent rise in house-hunters with Haart in Romford alone.
