Hearing for two women accused of murdering Ayesha Ali, 8, in Chadwell Heath delayed

Two women accused of murdering eight-year-old Ayesha Ali in Chadwell Heath have had their court hearing delayed.

The girl’s mother Polly Chowdhury, 34, of Broomfield Road, Chadwell Heath, was due to appear at the Old Bailey with co-defendant Kiki Muddar, 41, of Green Lane, on December 23 but the hearing never happened.

A court spokesman said they delay was caused by “the fitness of one of the defendants” and the hearing was moved to January 31.

Ayesha was found dead at her home in Bedwell Court, Broomfield Road, on August 29.
