People enjoyed learning the intricate art of fused glass under the watchful eye of an expert studio artist on Tuesday.

Amanda Seljubac, who led the sold out workshop at Valentines Mansion, Emerson Road, Ilford, showed how to make a decorative item using specialist techniques and materials.

A spokeswoman for the mansion said the setting inspired creativity.

She said: “We’re so pleased to offer the public the opportunity to learn a new skill, take up a new hobby, try something different and take something home.

“The workshops are great fun and also provides a great chance to meet new friends.”
