Children and young people in Havering will have a chance to tell the council what their concerns are, and what they would like to see changed in the borough thanks to a new survey.

The short consultation run by Havering Council tackles everything from what youngsters think about their local area, what activities they do, to transport, crime, safe sex and antisocial behaviour.

Feedback from the survey will be used to set out the priorities of the Children’s Trust over the next three years.

Cllr Steven Kelly, deputy leader of the council, said: “It’s so important that young people’s voices are heard when it comes to setting the priorities for the future of services which are aimed at them.

“All Councils have less resources and need to do more with less, therefore, by asking young people what they want and need, we can target our resources where they are most needed, and where they can do the most good.”
