Teen singer Ryan Green made it through the battle round of The Voice last night but has now joined Team Will.

Ryan, 18, of Hainault, was chosen by pop princess Rita Ora to go up against up Joe Woolford singing Jason Mraz’s I won’t give up.

The pair sung their hearts out but when it came to her decision, Rita picked Joe to stay on her team and to go straight through to the next round.

Ryan - who started singing when he joined the group Redbridge Music Lounge when he was 11-years-old - was down but not out for long as producer and rapper and Sir Tom Jones pressed their buttons to steal Ryan for their own teams.

The 18-year-old chose to go with Will and will now be competing in the next round.

The Voice is on next Saturday from 7pm.
