School students who missed their flight to a skiing trip have been told they will be able to take to the slopes after all.
Forty-seven students and four teachers at The Forest Academy, Harbourer Road, Hainault were due to fly out from Stansted Airport on Saturday morning for their five-day stay in Bulgaria.
But according to parents, check in delays meant not all the students were cleared to fly before the gates closed, meaning all the pupils had to head back home disappointed.
But on Tuesday, parents were reportedly told the students will be on a re-arranged flight leaving for Bulgaria on Sunday, with a stay at an all inclusive resort included and a full seven days of skiing.
One mother said she was “more than satisfied” with the result.
