A 31-year-old woman died after she was struck by a train at Ilford train station last Saturday.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) and the Metropolitan Police Service attended the incident, which was first reported at 9.03am.
The London Ambulance Service also attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A BTP spokesman said: “The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
The woman’s family have been informed.
