Staff from the borough’s main train operator recently spent the day at two train stations getting stuck into some gardening to help enhance the environment.
The Greater Anglia assessment management team got to work clearing, weeding, pruning and digging over the flower beds at both Goodmayes and Seven Kings stations.
They worked hard to prepare the soil before adding ornamental grasses and shrubs.
Simone Bailey, Greater Anglia’s assessment management director, said: “We were very pleased to spend the day at Goodmayes and Seven Kings stations in order to refresh the station flower beds and brighten up the area for staff and customers alike.
“I’d like to thank everyone who helped on the day.”
