An annual charity event will give keen golfers from the borough a chance to raise vital funds for a Redbridge-based children’s charity.

Raffingers Stuart, of Bourne Court, Woodford Green, is hosting a special golf day to raise money for Hopes and Dreams on Wednesday.

All of the funds raised will go to the charity, based in Somersby Gardens, to help grant special wishes for seriously or terminally ill children.

The event, which will be held at the Abridge Golf and Country Club in Essex, will include a three-course meal and a number of prizes are also up for grabs.

Lee Manning, partner at Raffingers Stuart, said: “The event is great fun and always has a great atmosphere. We have been supporting Hopes and Dreams for three years now and are dedicated to raising more funds to allow them to continue the great work they do.

“Last year the golf day raised £1,200 for the charity and we are hoping to raise a lot more this year.”

Tickets are £65. To find out more email martine.hamilton@raffingers-stuart.co.uk or call 020 8551 7200.
