Gulnawaz Yasin, a governor at Hatton School in Woodford Green, organised the event at Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club on September 7.

He said: “It was a great success with lots of valuable participation from the players in the competition as well as the fundraising.

“It was a very successful event, fiercely competitive and lots of fun - we had 47 players and raised in excess of £1,800.”

Funds raised by the competition, won by golfer Julien Jabes, will be used to update sensory classroom facilities at Hatton School.
