Fitness fanatics and dance lovers can put their skills to good use at a charity zumbathon this Saturday (February 24).

Redbridge residents are invited to the Eden Trust’s event at the Jack Carter Centre in The Drive, Ilford, for two and a half hours of non-stop zumba, to raise money for its grief counselling services.

This is the fourth year the charity has put on the event.

Shelley Reynolds, who works at the trust and was at last year’s event, which was by all accounts a huge success.

She said: “It was a fantastic event and all in all we raised almost £3,000, and now all that money will go towards providing counsellors in sessions across the region for free.

“They were at it for two and a half hours altogether. I have no idea how they managed it.”

There is a £12 entry fee. For further information call 07814 550 375.
