New carpets, paintings, desks and luxury beds are among the fruits of a £200,000 refurbishment programme in store for guests Gants Hill’s Travelodge hotel.
The 32-room hotel, opened in 1994 in Beehive Lane, was refurbished over a fortnight by an in-house maintenance team as part of a £223million investment across the chain nationally.
Manager Danielle Reeve said: “We are very excited to benefit from this investment.
“The feedback we have received from customers has been outstanding.
“There is no doubt the hero of the room is the Travelodge Dreamer bed.”
