Forensic teams could be seen continuing their investigations into yesterday’s (Sat) tragic plane crash which killed the two pilots aboard.

Essex Police and the Air Accidents Investigation units are still trying to establish the cause of the crash in a field off Gravel Lane, Chigwell, yesterday morning.

London Executive Aviation, which owned and operated the eight-seater Beechcraft King Air 200, paid tribute to the “highly-experience professional pilots” in a statement.

The identities of the pilots has not yet been revealed, but it is understood they had only taken off from nearby Stapleford Aerodrome minutes before the crash.

Gravel Lane remains cordoned off, with floral tributes laid nearby.
