Free cupcakes will be handed out by staff at Ilford’s Wilkinson store tomorrow to celebrate a new look and its fifth anniversary.
Store bosses say the shop in the Exchange shopping centre, High Road, has been re-designed to be brighter and to provide a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
Pupils from Christchurch Primary School, Wellesley Road, Ilford, are creating a range of summer inspired posters to be displayed during the celebratory events.
Shahina Ugradar, Wilko store manager, said: “The new layout of the store will make it more convenient, providing better access to our great value and high quality product ranges from stationery and homewares to decorating materials and gardening products.”
