Four top of the range cars were set on fire in the early hours of this morning.
Two BMWs, a Mercedes and a Porsche all belonging to one family in Fairfield Road, Ilford were left “ruined” according to a fire fighter on the scene.
The fire brigade were on scene at about 4am this morning and it took them about 30 minutes to get the four fires under control.
Two of the cars were parked on the drive, one on the road and the other parked on the opposite side of the road.
A fire spokesman said: “It was quite horrendous. It was close to taking the house out. It was lucky that the wind was blowing in the other direction. The cars were ruined.”
