Four males, including two under the age of 18, have been charged with burglary and theft after an alleged incident in Newbury Park.
A homeowner in Southdown Crescent allegedly found would-be burglars in his home at around 3.30pm on Thursday.
A police helicopter was scrambled and four people were arrested in nearby Aldborough Road North, Newbury Park.
They have been bailed and are due to appear in Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 30.
