Animal-lovers got to go behind the scenes of Ilford PetAid and meet the hospital’s four-legged patients today at an open-afternoon.

A dog show and agility test, puppy party and raffle were held, and children had their faces painted and enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic. There were also tours of the consulting and operating rooms, so visitors could learn more about how the hospital is run.

All money raised will go to the PDSA. For more information visit www.pdsa.org.uk
