Leyton Orient have added striker Darius Henderson to their squad following his release from Nottingham Forest.
The 32-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the O’s, having agreed to part company with the Championship club despite having a year left to run on his contract at the County Ground.
Henderson has plenty of experience to call upon, with a number of years in the Championship with the likes of Watford, Sheffield United and Millwall.
The striker netted nine goals for Forest last season in 38 appearances, having scored the same number of goals the previous season in spells with the Midlands outfit and Millwall after leaving the Lions in January 2013.
Henderson’s switch to the O’s follows hot on the heels of fellow striker Jay Simpson yesterday, who also penned a three-year contract at Brisbane Road.
