Residents with family stories about the First World War are urged to come forward.

Redbridge Museum is looking for local tales to include in its centenary programme this year, including information about people who lived in Redbridge at the time or stories from residents who have a connection with the borough today.

The attraction is particularly keen to hear from people with an African, Caribbean or south Asian background whose ancestors may have fought in the conflict, as they are not represented in its records.

The museum, in Clements Road, Ilford, is managed by Vision Redbridge on behalf of the council.
