God is Love. The truth is that we are all loved, every day, by God

On February 14, we spend millions of pounds in chocolates and flowers – which can be nice but also a bit of a let-down if you don’t receive any.

For some, there is a sadness that Valentine’s Day has come and gone and no more lovely treats, others could not wait to see the back of the day.

Valentine’s Day may have come and gone. This is not, however, the case with God’s love.

The love of God is not about one day nor is it focused on just one individual; God’s love is for everyone and He expresses that love every minute of every day.

Love truly is in the air, but also in the hearts of those who follow him and those who do not.

The Bible says God is Love. This is the description of who God is.

It’s worth noting it’s not a description of how God acts, but who God is.

There is not a day that goes by that God has not loved us.

This kind of love both feeds us and is over us, “He has brought me to his banquet hall and his banner over me is love” (Solomon 2:4).

What a wonderful image!

Love hovers over us, bringing comfort, reassurance and acceptance.

God does not exclude anyone when it comes to His unconditional love and neither should we.

Even those who might feel unlovable, the truth is we are all loved.
