The festival, a favourite with residents, is on today at Christchurch Green, Wanstead and has a variety of activities to suit all.

The event, which runs between 11am and 5pm, features a dog show, community stalls, a food court, sports taster sessions, arts and crafts, face painting and live music, an acoustic stage and a main concert stage.

People are also invited to bring along their bikes for repairs and a free bike security marking will also be available for those wishing to add to their bicycle protection.

The event is now in its 14th year and will feature a special performance by former ‘The Voice’ contestant, Ryan Green.

The nearest tube stations to the event are Snaresbrook and Wanstead stations which are on the central line.

Buses W12, W13 or W14 can be taken to Snaresbrook or the E11 to Hermon Hill. Christchurch Green is a short walk from bus stop SD.

Entry to the event is free.
