A beloved children's character stopped by Barkingside to entertain families, and celebrate a big anniversary.

The Cat in the Hat rocked up at Ken Aston Square, High Street, on Saturday to host an interactive storytelling show, featuring games and opportunities to take snaps with the character, and dress up as Thing 1 and Thing 2.

The popular Dr. Seuss book turned 60 in March.
