There are heavy delays on the North Circular after a lorry load of skips fell into the road earlier this afternoon.

The A406 eastbound was blocked at the junction with the M11 at Charlie Brown’s Roundabout, South Woodford, after four skips fell from the back of the lorry transporting them at around 1.15pm.

One lane past the incident has now been reopened, but congestion and queuing traffic is already back past the Crooked Billet underpass and is expected to be severe for at least the next hour.
