A Woodford Green woman got the chance to drive against former Formula One World Champion Damon Hill in a virtual race during a visit to Westfield Stratford City on Friday.
Katie Woolworth was with her friend Natalie Stocked, of Stratford, when they popped in to the LG Electronics Life’s Good Lounge, a showcase of their products, currently touring the UK.
Damon, who won the F1 world championship in 1996, had his son Josh with him.
Apart from seeing father and son in action as they raced against each other on the latest 3D TV, Christmas shoppers could challenge them to beat their best lap times and have a chance to win an LG 3D TV Package worth more than 1,000.
