Readers have wormed their way through numerous books and have chosen the best work of the year.
Emylia Hall, author of The Book of Summers, has won the Big Red Read Award which is voted for by Redbridge residents and library customers.
She will be picking up her award, and discussing her book, at Fullwell Cross Library, High Street, Barkingside, on Wednesday from 6.30-7.30pm.
