A pop up summer garden filled with giant jenga, deck chairs, entertainment and fun will be appearing in Ilford very soon.

Children and families can expect a jam packed day of fun as activities include giant Jenga, chess, Connect 4, face painting, butterfly stilt walkers, delicious desserts and refreshments, a balloon modeller and more.

The free events, organised by the Ilford Business Improvement District (BID), will take place on Saturday 19th and Saturday 26th August, between 11am and 4pm, on a picket fenced area of the High Road, Ilford, opposite Argos.

Ben Collins, Ilford BID manager, encouraged everyone to get involved.

He said: “We want Ilford to be an exciting destination for visitors of all ages.

“The pop up summer garden will bring some family fun to the town centre and it’s fantastic that businesses in the town centre are getting involved in the activities.”
