An emergency meeting was called by Sikh leaders on Thursday to discuss the issue of prostitution and vulnerable women.
It was called after a Panorama documentary highlight the plight of woman in the Sikh community being exploited.
The meeting was attended by religious leaders, councillors and police. It was called by the south region team of Sikh Council UK and was held at the Singh Sabha Gurdwara Sahib, North Street, Barking.
