Children donned homemade bonnets and went on a special egg hunt despite the weather on Thursday, to celebrate Easter.
Youngsters at Kids Inc Nursery, Cleveland Road, South Woodford, aged between 10 months and four years, sang Easter-themed songs for parents and staff, before embarking on an egg hunt around the garden.
Deputy manager Karli Sairman said: “Even though it was very cold, the children were very enthusiastic to take part in the Easter egg hunt in our garden and they all came wearing colourful bonnets, which some had made from scratch with help from their parents. It is important to celebrate Easter and all the children loved getting chocolate eggs at the end of the day.”
