Valentines High pupils named best Young Enterprise company in Redbridge for learning cards venture

A group of Year 12 students, who designed special cards which can be used in schools to help pupils learn, have won an award for their business and ideas.

Sabrina Alam, Dhruv Datta, Muhuammed Mufti, Sikander Khan and Abdulla Rahman from Valentines High School, Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, were named the Best Overall Company at the annual Young Enterprise Redbridge Company of the Year awards held in central London on Monday.

The group, Revolution, came up with the idea to design learning resource cards for schools.

Another team at the school, Infinites, won the best company report award for their business selling mobile phone covers.

While Phoenix Enterprise, who created a range of aromatherapy products, also made it into the Redbridge heats.

Each company had the opportunity to showcase their talents and demonstrate everything they have learned and achieved through their involvement in the programme.

Revolution will now go on to represent the borough at the east London finals on May 2.
