Seven Kings High School on Ley Street, Ilford has closed its doors to staff and students today due to problems with its gas supply.
The school made the decision yesterday evening after learning they would be unable to heat the building and would be unable to prepare food.
The school say they would like to apologise for any inconvenience and ask parents to check their website to find out when they will re-open. It is not yet know whether classes will resume on Monday
