Kantor King Solomon High School is celebrating a record-breaking GCSE results morning today.

The school, in Forest Road, Barkingside, has marked the end of a fantastic year with an equally fantastic GCSE haul.

Overall, King Solomon pupils scored 77 per cent A*-C grades including maths and English, but the school’s most impressive success came in Jewish studies, with 85pc of those that sat the exam achieving an A*-C grade.

Headteacher Matthew Slater said: “I am so proud and delighted for the entire school, that we have achieved record breaking results. These results are testament to the focus, determination, skill and tenacity of our teaching staff and our students.

“This school has been through a journey, and I am honoured to have led it to this record breaking point.”
