GCSE Results 2018: Headteacher “thrilled” as Oaks Park High School achieve best results ever

Headteacher Joanne Hamill said: “We are thrilled with the results and are delighted to play our part in helping the students achieve qualifications that they can realise their hopes and ambitions for the future.”

The school has achieved an attainment 8 score of 53.54, with 70pc of pupils passing English and maths with grades 9-4. Nineteen students achieved grades 7, 8, 9, A and A* .

Tarun Odedra achieved nine grade 9s, while Fariha Ramisa achieved six 9s, two 8s and one A, and Amber Solanki received six 9s, two 8s and one 7.

Jude Mbroh scooped six 9s, three 8s and an A; Nirvan Barua bagged five 9s, four 8s and an A*; while Yafi Sheikh achieved three 9s and six 8s.

Head of Year 11 Nicole Peters said: “It has been an absolute delight to celebrate the many successes of our GCSE students.”
