Firemen spent three hours rescuing a tiny fox cub that was stuck behind the wall of a garage in South Woodford.
The fire brigade were called by the RSPA at about 8.40pm yesterday to Byron Road after a woman heard noises.
The fox was stuck between the house and garage and the firemen had to remove part of the wall to get to the animal.
A spokesman for the fire brigade said: “Firemen worked hard to release the fox which was left in the care of the RSPCA.”
