It all added up to marvellous mathematical times at one school in Barkingside with children subtracting their normal uniform for maths inspired fancy dress.
Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton even made an appearance at the Fullwood Primary School, Cranbrook Road for the week of maths themed activities.
Last week was Mega Maths Week which aimed to inspired children and counter some of the negative perceptions some children have of maths.
Hannah Birkett, maths subject leader, said: “It was really fun. It was done to raise the profile of maths and it was nice to see them thinking out of the box.”
Not only did the children wear clothes inspired by maths, but they also had competitions and quizzes and each child had a maths problem to solve.
