The depths of Africa were recreated for the afternoon at one library, with enchanting stories and traditional crafts.
Whether it was listening to the toe- tapping music or putting explosions of colour on to fabric during the tie dye workshop, there was something to keep everyone entertained.
Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford, hosted the last IROKO event in Redbridge on Thursday.
The theatre company held activities for schoolchildren which included batik making and clay modelling.
There was also a vibrant art exhibition on show all day as well as refreshments.
