Sensational students and tremendous teachers gave Britain’s Got Talent a run for their money by hosting their very own talent show in aid of a children’s charity.
Forest Academy, Forest Road, Hainault raised £400 for Haven House Children’s Hospice with acts including singing and musicians.
Organiser Mandalena Charalambous said: “It was brilliant, I think it will become an annual thing. The students who performed really enjoyed it. It was really good for the school and the charity.”
The night was won by Year 9 students Rosie Webb who sang, but there were also surprise performances by teachers. There was also a presentation by a representative from the children’s hospice in High Road, Woodford Green.
Miss Charalambous said: “She spoke about the charity and what they do and we watched a video about the families and what the money was going towards which was a massive help.”
