Prizes were awarded to worthy students at a Barkingside school in front of 700 guests on Tuesday.

King Solomon High School, Forest Road, hosted its Upper School Prize day with more than 700 parents and students, who packed into the Sports Hall to recognise the efforts and achievements of our students.

Unfortunately the guest of honour, Rabbi Efriam Mirvis, was unable to attend due to his appointment as the new Chief Rabbi, but the school were instead honoured to host Rabbi Elchanan Feldman of Belmont United Synagogue, Stanmore, in his place.

Spokesman for King Solomon, Shelley Goldman, said: β€œIt was a wonderful afternoon where the school celebrated the success of our students in all areas of academic and school life and listened to exceptional musical performances by students of the school.”
