Members of staff at a pharmacy raised hundreds of pounds for a mental health charity.
A coffee morning was held at the Day Lewis Pharmacy, Beattyville Gardens, Barkingside, last week and raise £327 for the Mental Health Foundation, which supports research into mental health and offers help.
The amount raised will be matched by the pharmacy chain’s CEO Kirit Patel.
Rebridge mayor Cllr Gurdial Bhamra attended the event.
Dispensing assistant Elaine Hobbs said: “Customers stopped by for a cup of tea and a piece of cake and it was a lovely atmosphere.”
