The high winds and torrential rain which hit London over the last 24 hours have knocked over a large tree in High Road, Woodford Green.
The mighty horse chestnut was blown over yesterday at 6pm, blocking traffic in the road.
The Met Office issued a warning today about outbreaks of rain that are affecting eastern England.
There could be localised thundery bursts and surface area flooding.
