Traffic tailbacks remain this evening after a car crashed into the central reservation on the A12 Eastern Avenue.
The accident, at the road’s junction with The Drive, Ilford, led to heavy queuing traffic for vehicles travelling from Ilford to the Redbridge Roundabout.
Transport for London says Eastern Avenue fully reopened a few minutes ago following the accident, which happened at around 5pm.
But westbound tailbacks remain to the Horns Road junction, Newbury Park.
