“It has been always a pleasure seeing our lovely pupils getting the chance to learn a lot about our fresh ingredients, making pizzas and getting creative while having a lot of fun.”

From the classic cheese and tomato to the more adventurous BBQ chicken, the children made the delicious Italian treats and then took then home to their parents as a reminder of the day.

Pupil Musfirah Rizvi, said: “The best part of this trip which I enjoyed the most about Pizza Express was when the chef Chris tossed the dough in the air.

“I was really excited when I arrived at Pizza Express and if given the opportunity I would love to go again.”

Headteacher Ian Bennett added: “Headteacher, Mr. Bennett. We are appreciative to Pizza Express for giving Downshall Primary and the children a memorable learning experience.”
